The annual Ken Smith Golf Classic supports Scouting programs in Kenosha, Milwaukee and Racine counties. This event offers a full day of excitement with 18 holes of golf, pre-outing contests, and a happy hour reception including a silent auction and award ceremony. Players of all skills levels are invited to take part in this day of friendly competition.

Kenneth E. Smith

October 26, 1962 - July 20, 2012

Born with a passion to help others, Kenneth (Ken) E. Smith’s life is an example of service, dedication and philanthropy.

As a young man, he started his Boy Scout career in Palatine, Illinois. He attained the highest level of Scouting, the Eagle Scout award, in Cadott, Wisconsin in 1978.

He served as Council President of the Southeast Wisconsin Council, Boy Scouts of America in 2001 and 2002. Ken established the Southeast Wisconsin Council Annual Golf Classic in 2002.

Ken was devoted to his family, cherished his friends and was an avid Bears and Cubs fan.

Three Harbors Council is proud to name the combined golf outing the Ken Smith Golf Classic: Supporting the Boy Scouts of America in his honor.
